Welcome to the future home of the Appalachian Region’s hub for Pathfinder and Starfinder Society Organized Play!
If you’re reading this, you’ve arrived during our construction phase. We’re laying the foundation for something we hope will become an invaluable resource for our community—a place that brings together players, GMs, and Venture-Officers across Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
What We’re Building
This site exists for one purpose: to strengthen, connect, and celebrate our organized play community across the Appalachian Region.
Over the coming weeks and months, this hub will grow into a comprehensive resource where you can:
- Find games near you through our lodge directory with direct links to scheduling tools, websites, and Discord servers
- Discover conventions hosting Pathfinder and Starfinder Society games throughout our six-state region
- Stay informed about regional news, announcements, and updates from lodges across the region
- Get started with resources for new players and GMs looking to join organized play
- Celebrate together as we highlight the achievements, milestones, and stories from our community
- Connect with opportunities to volunteer, become a Venture-Officer, or even start a lodge in your area
Why This Matters
The Appalachian Region is home to 29 active lodges and countless dedicated volunteers who give their time out of pure passion for these games. We’ve watched our community adapt through challenges, grow stronger together, and create memorable experiences at tables from the mountains of Asheville to the cities of Atlanta and Richmond.
But for all our growth and dedication, we’ve needed a central place—a regional home where our scattered communities can see themselves as part of something larger. A place where someone new to the area can quickly find a game, where a traveling player can locate a lodge on their route, and where we can all share in each other’s successes.
That’s what we’re building here.
What’s Coming
As construction progresses, you’ll see this site evolve. We’re starting with the essentials:
✓ A comprehensive lodge directory covering all six states
✓ A conventions calendar with countdown timers and venue information
✓ Clear pathways for new players to get started
✓ Information about our commitment to safe, welcoming tables for everyone
Soon, we’ll add:
- Regional news and updates
- Spotlight features on lodges and volunteers
- Resources for GMs and players
- Links to each lodge’s individual presence
- Information about leadership opportunities
A Labor of Love
Like organized play itself, this website is built by volunteers who love these games and the communities they foster. We’re doing this because we believe in the power of bringing people together around a shared table—whether that table is in a game store, a library, a convention center, or a virtual meeting room.
This isn’t a corporate initiative or a mandated project. It’s volunteers building something for volunteers, players creating resources for players, and a community investing in its own future.
A Note About Construction
As we build this site, you’ll likely encounter missing pages, broken links, and features that aren’t quite ready yet. We ask for your patience as we work through the construction process. This is very much a work in progress, and we’re building it piece by piece.
What’s working now: Our Regional Conventions Calendar is live! Check it out to see upcoming conventions across all six states, complete with countdown timers, venue information, and direct links to each event.
More features will come online as we complete them. Thank you for understanding as we build something worthy of this amazing community.

Thank You
To every GM who’s prepped an adventure, every player who’s shown up to make a table, every Venture-Officer who’s coordinated events, and every person who’s welcomed a newcomer to organized play—thank you. You’re the reason this community exists, and you’re the reason this site is worth building.
The dust will settle, the construction will finish, and when it does, we’ll have built something together that reflects the best of what organized play can be: welcoming, passionate, connected, and always ready to roll initiative.
Welcome to the Appalachian Region. We’re glad you’re here.
